Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms govern any engagement between SORIS (operated by Gabriel Yee) and the client. By engaging SORIS services, the client agrees to these terms.

1. Scope of Services

SORIS provides Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) consulting services as described in the agreed package (Foundation, Core GEO, Authority or Global) and outlined in the specific engagement agreement. Exact deliverables are as stated in that agreement, not implied by general marketing material.

2. No Guarantee of Outcomes

SORIS guarantees delivery of the agreed scope of work within the agreed timeline. SORIS does not and cannot guarantee specific outcomes controlled by third parties, including but not limited to: mention or citation by ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or any AI system; search engine rankings; acceptance of pitches by journalists or media outlets; or acceptance by any influencer or KOL. These outcomes depend on systems and decisions outside SORIS control.

3. Delivery Guarantee

If SORIS has not delivered every listed component of the engaged tier within the timeline agreed in writing, SORIS will continue working at no additional cost until delivery is complete. This guarantee covers delivery of agreed work, not third-party recommendation or ranking outcomes.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms, deposit percentage, payment schedule, accepted payment methods and late payment consequences are stated in the specific engagement agreement. Priority Intake Rate pricing, where applicable, applies for the period stated in the agreement; standard rates apply thereafter, as disclosed to the client in writing before the engagement begins.

5. Case Study and Documentation Rights

Where the client has entered a Priority Intake Rate arrangement, the client agrees to permit SORIS to document the engagement (before and after data, methodology applied, results where relevant) for use in SORIS’s own marketing and case studies, subject to client review and approval before publication of any specific client-identifying material.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, SORIS’s total liability arising from any engagement is limited to the total fees paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim. SORIS is not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental damages, including loss of profits, loss of business opportunity or reputational harm, arising from the services provided.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public business information shared during the engagement, except where disclosure is required by law.

8. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, the client owns the specific deliverables created for them (website content, schema markup implemented on their site). SORIS retains ownership of its own underlying methodology, frameworks and any proprietary tools or templates used to deliver the work.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement with 14 days written notice. Work completed to that point remains the property of the client upon full payment for services rendered.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these Terms will first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through mediation before any court proceedings.
